Feb. 13 (Bloomberg) -- The Grammy awards telecast on CBS last night attracted 39 million viewers, the second-largest ever for the annual music-industry show, according to preliminary data from the network.
The program, which included a tribute to Whitney Houston, who died Feb. 11, was seen in 21.8 percent of the 114.7 million U.S. TV households. The most-watched Grammy telecast was the 1984 show, which drew 51.7 million viewers.
