Germany Welcomes Greece Parliament Decision, Seibert Says

Feb. 13 (Bloomberg) -- The German government welcomes the decision of the Greek parliament to vote in favor of further austerity measures, said Steffen Seibert, Chancellor Angela Merkel’s chief spokesman.

The vote “shows the readiness to undertake major cuts” and loosen labor-market restrictions holding back economic growth in Greece, Seibert told reporters in Berlin today.
