Feb. 13 (Bloomberg) -- AXA Equitable Life Insurance Co., the seller of life insurance and retirement annuity products, named Amy Radin to the new position of senior executive vice president and chief marketing officer.
Radin, former chief innovation officer at E*Trade Financial Corp., reports to Mark Pearson, chairman and chief executive officer, the New York-based insurer said today in a statement distributed by PR Newswire. Radin has also led marketing, digital and customer service initiatives at Reader’s Digest Association Inc. and spent nine years at Citigroup Inc.
“Marketing and communications are central to our plans to build the AXA Equitable brand around the customer experience,” Pearson said in the statement. “Amy clearly brings a wealth of expertise to this effort, along with a track record of success in customer-focused initiatives throughout her career.”
AXA Equitable, owned by Paris-based Axa SA, is France’s biggest insurer and No. 2 in Europe behind Allianz SE. Axa, led by Chief Executive Officer Henri de Castries, is scheduled to announce full-year results this week.
Axa rose less than 1 percent to 12.42 euros today in Paris. It has fallen 21 percent in the past 12 months.
