Turkish Stocks: Akbank, Despec Bilgisayar, Sabanci Holding

Feb. 10 (Bloomberg) -- Turkey’s benchmark ISE National 100 Index fell for a second day, losing 1.4 percent to 59,332.11 at the close in Istanbul. The index was down 1.4 percent on the week.
The following stocks were active. Stock symbols are in parentheses.
Akbank TAS (AKBNK TI), the bank owned by Citigroup Inc. and Haci Omer Sabanci Holding AS, slumped 3.1 percent to 6.82 liras, its lowest this month. Akbank reported a 20 percent slide in profit in the fourth quarter, missing all 13 estimates in a Bloomberg survey.
Despec Bilgisayar Pazarlama & Ticaret AS (DESPC TI), an importer and distributor of computers and equipment, added as much as 4.1 percent before closing up 0.9 percent at 4.72 liras. The company became the distributor in Turkey for Dexim products, it said in an e-mailed statement today.
Haci Omer Sabanci Holding AS (SAHOL TI), Turkey’s second- largest group of companies, lost 1.7 percent to 7.08 liras. The group was cut to “neutral” from “buy” at UBS AG.
