Feb. 9 (Bloomberg) -- Dubai’s DFM General Index advanced 0.3 percent to 1,486.9, the highest since Sept. 7, at the 2 p.m. close in the emirate. Abu Dhabi’s ADX General Index rose 0.1 percent.

Aldar Properties PJSC (ALDAR UH) rose for the third time this week, rallying 3.2 percent to 97 fils. Abu Dhabi’s biggest property developer may next week post 2011 profit of 494 million dirhams ($134 million) after a loss of 2.4 billion dirhams a year earlier, according to the mean estimate of eight analysts on Bloomberg.
Arabtec Holding PJSC (ARTC UH) surged to the highest since October 2009, advancing 3 percent to 2.74 dirhams, on speculation the United Arab Emirates’ biggest construction company may benefit from regional infrastructure spending.
