Feb. 9 (Bloomberg) -- Italian Prime Minister Mario Monti said there is still the risk of a fiscal and banking crisis in some euro-region countries.
Monti made the remarks in a speech at the Peterson Institute in Washington.
Monti also said that cutting deficits is not sufficient to fix the economic problems in the euro region.
