UN’s Ban Says Arab League to Send Observers Back to Syria

Feb. 8 (Bloomberg) -- The Arab Legue will send observers back into Syria and has asked for the United Nations to take part and send a special envoy, UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon told reporters in New York.
He said it was ‘not clear’’ if Syrian President Bashar al- Assad would even accept such a proposal.
