Grameenphone Profit Climbs 76% to 18.9 Billion Taka

Feb. 8 (Bloomberg) -- Grameenphone Ltd., the Bangladesh unit of Norway’s Telenor ASA, reported full-year net income rose 76 percent to 18.9 billion taka from 10.7 billion taka a year earlier.
Revenue climbed 19 percent to 89.1 billion taka, according to an e-mailed statement from the company today. Grameenphone will pay a dividend of 6.5 taka per share, it added.
