Era of Low Food Prices Has Come to End, Cargill’s Conway Says

Feb. 5 (Bloomberg) -- The era of low food prices has come to an end, and speculators are an “essential” part of the markets, Cargill Inc.’s vice chairman, Paul Conway, said.
Speculators don’t change supply and demand fundamentals, he said at the Kingsman sugar conference in Dubai today.
