Feb. 6 (Bloomberg) -- Poland’s WIG20 Index increased 0.1 percent, extending its rally to eight days, to 2,372.15 as of 3:36 p.m.

Bank Handlowy SA (BHW PW), rose 1.8 percent to 77.25 zloty, climbing for the first time in three days as fourth-quarter net income at the Citigroup Inc. unit increased 14 percent to 221.1 million zloty ($69 million), exceeding the 176.6 million-zloty mean estimate of five analysts surveyed by Bloomberg.
Bank Pekao SA (PEO PW), added 1.5 percent to 162.7 zloty, gaining for a second day after the country’s second-largest lender was raised to “hold” from “reduce” at Erste Group AG with a price estimate of 170 zloty.
