Hungary Gets 5 Bids in 26 GHz Frequency Tender, Watchdog Says

Feb. 7 (Bloomberg) -- Hungary’s media and telecommunication watchdog received five bids in a tender for the 26 gigahertz frequency, the authority said.

Magyar Telekom Nyrt., Telenor ASA’s Hungarian unit, Vodafone Plc’s local subsidiary, state-owned energy company Magyar Villamos Muvek Zrt., and GTS Hungary Tavkozlesi Kft. submitted bids, the watchdog said in an e-mailed statement today.
