Gazprom Neft Oil Refinery Boosted Crude Processing by 6% in 2011

Feb. 7 (Bloomberg) -- OAO Gazprom Neft, the oil producer controlled by Russia’s natural-gas export monopoly, refined 6 percent more crude last year than in 2010, the company said.

The producer’s Moscow refinery processed 10.8 million metric tons of crude, or 216,888 barrels a day, Gazprom Neft said today in an e-mailed statement. The plant made 6.1 million tons of light products, up 5 percent from the year before, including 2.2 million tons of high-octane gasoline, the St. Petersburg-based company said.

Output included 2.6 million tons of diesel and 649,000 tons of jet fuel, according to the statement. The facility can process as much as 12.15 million tons a year of crude, or 244,000 barrels a day, it said
