Icelandair Group Hf Sells Latvian Unit Smartlynx

Feb. 6 (Bloomberg) -- Icelandair Group hf sold its Latvian unit SmartLynx.
The sale will have a “positive impact” on the bottom line of 1.1 billion kronur and wil be included in its 2011 accounts. The changes in equity are “marginal,” the company said.
The company will remain a guarantor in terms of the lease of two Airbus 320 aircraft until April 2012 and two Boeing 767 until the end of the year 2012.
