Feb. 4 (Bloomberg) -- Inotera Memories Inc. expects no impact on its operations after the death of Micron Technology Inc. Chief Executive Officer Steve Appleton.
“He certainly contributed a lot to the industry, I respected him very much,” Inotera president Charles Kau said by phone today. “There should be no impact on our business.”
Inotera is a Taoyuan, Taiwan-based memory-chip making venture between Boise, Idaho-based Micron and Nanya Technology Corp, also of Taoyuan. Appleton died after an experimental aircraft he was flying crashed in Boise.
