Feb. 4 (Bloomberg) -- Turkish jets struck Kurdistan Workers’ Party, or PKK, camps in northern Iraq, the military General Staff said.
Turkey’s air force attacked three targets yesterday, according to a statement published on the Ankara-based organization’s website.
The PKK, which is listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the U.S. and the European Union, has been fighting for autonomy in southeastern Turkey for three decades and has its command center in Iraq’s Kandil Mountains.
