Feb. 3 (Bloomberg) -- Poland’s gas demand reached a record high yesterday as cold snap boosted demand, Malgorzata Polkowska, a spokeswoman at Gaz-System SA, Poland’s state-owned natural gas pipeline operator said by phone.
The country used 70.3 million cubic meters of the fuel, Polkowska said. According to the economy ministry, the previous record daily use came at 68.1 million cubic meters a day in January 2010.
