Petrobras Will Study Natural Gas Terminal in Rio Grande do Sul

Feb. 3 (Bloomberg) -- Petroleo Brasileiro SA, Brazil’s state-controlled oil producer, said it will carry out studies with the government of the southern state of Rio Grande do Sul to build a terminal to process liquefied natural gas.

The construction of a fertilizer plant in the state will also be assessed, Petrobras, as the Rio de Janeiro-based company is known, said in an e-mailed statement today.
