Feb. 1 (Bloomberg) -- The board of the International Monetary Fund said it “regretted the absence of progress” the country has shown in improving its inflation index.
The IMF board, in a meeting today, called on Argentina to undertake specific measures to improve its inflation and gross domestic product statistics within 180 days, according to an e- mailed statement today.
The board will next meet on Sept. 6 to review any changes made by Argentina.
