Feb. 2 (Bloomberg) -- MasterCard Inc., the world’s second- biggest payments network, said it opened a regional headquarters in Nairobi, the Kenyan capital.

The office is the fifth the New York-based company has opened in Africa, it said in an e-mailed statement today.
