Deutsche Bank May Take Part in ECB 3-Year Tender If Makes Sense

February 02, 2012

Feb. 2 (Bloomberg) -- Deutsche Bank AG may participate in the European Central Bank’s next unlimited offer of three-year loans to banks, though it doesn’t need to, Chief Executive Officer Josef Ackermann said at an earnings press conference in Frankfurt today.

“We don’t need it,” he said. Deutsche Bank will, however, take part “if it makes economic sense.”
