Bank Fund Raisings May Hurt Government Bond Demand, Consob Says

Feb. 2 (Bloomberg) -- Giuseppe Vegas, head of Italy’s market regulator Consob, said he sees the risk that bank capital raisings may impact demand for their fundraising and government bond sales.

Vegas, speaking at the Italian Senate today, also called for more time for banks to complete required capital increases.
