America Movil to Upgrade Puerto Rico Network Within Weeks

Feb. 2 (Bloomberg) -- America Movil SAB, the Latin American wireless-service provider controlled by billionaire Carlos Slim, will begin rolling a wireless network upgrade to LTE/4G in Puerto Rico “in the coming weeks,” said equipment supplier Alcatel-Lucent.

America Movil selected Alcatel-Lucent to upgrade its wireless network in Latin America, the Paris-based company said today in a PRNewswire statement.
