Viacom CEO Dauman Says He’s Open to Unbundling Cable Channels

Jan. 31 (Bloomberg) -- Viacom Inc., owner of the Nickelodeon and MTV cable networks, is open to unbundling channels and letting consumers choose the ones they want.
Viacom would offer its channels individually if the economics were right, Philippe Dauman, chief executive officer of New York-based Viacom, said today at the All Things D conference in Dana Point, California.
