Feb. 1 (Bloomberg) -- The following companies are having unusual price changes in Peru trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and share prices are as of 1:29 p.m. Lima time.
The Lima General Index gained for an eighth session, rising 1.3 percent to 22,237.48. The MSCI All Peru Capped Index climbed 1.3 percent to 2,838.15.
Copper and zinc miners gained after metals advanced in New York and London, said Estefany Castillo, an analyst at Scotiabank Peru.
Alturas Minerals Corp. (ALT PE), a Canadian copper and gold exploration company, rose 8.3 percent to 13 cents. Panoro Minerals Ltd. (PML PE), a Canadian copper and gold exploration company, gained 6.3 percent to 67 cents. Candente Copper Corp. (DNT PE), a Canadian exploration company, climbed 2.9 percent to $1.05. Cia. Minera Atacocha SA (ATACOBC1 PE), the Lima-based zinc mining company, rose 2.4 percent to 84 centimos.
Credicorp Ltd. (BAP PE), Peru’s largest financial-services company, advanced 3.8 percent to $117 ahead of tomorrow’s publication of its fourth-quarter earnings.
Intergroup Financial Services Corp. (IFS PE), the owner of Peru’s fourth-largest bank, rose 2.9 percent to $28.80 after fourth-quarter earnings doubled to 206 million soles ($76.6 million).
