Feb. 1 (Bloomberg) -- Kuzbass Fuel Co., a Russian coal producer for power stations, said sales by volume gained 25 percent last year as exports to Europe and Asia surged.
The company sold 10.66 million metric tons of coal last year, when it increased output 28 percent to 8.74 million tons, Kuzbass Fuel said in a statement today. Fourth-quarter output rose 15 percent from the same period of 2010 to 2.57 million tons, while sales increased 22 percent to 3.34 million tons.
Some of the coal Kuzbass sold came from third parties.
