Istanbul Prices Fell 0.2% in January, Chamber Says

Feb. 1 (Bloomberg) -- Consumer prices in Istanbul fell a monthly 0.22 percent in January, Istanbul’s chamber of commerce said on its website today.

Annual inflation accelerated to 9.9 percent last month from 9 percent in December, the chamber said on its website today.

The statistics office in Ankara is due to publish national inflation data for January on Feb. 3. Inflation in Turkey was 10.5 percent in December.
