Feb. 1 (Bloomberg) -- Gold may reach $2,000 an ounce by the fourth quarter, up from a first-quarter estimate of $1,850, analysts at Bank of America Merrill Lynch said today in an e- mailed report. Copper may reach $8,500 a metric ton in the fourth quarter, compared with an estimated $7,000 in the first quarter, the bank said.
