German Deputy Finance Minister Kampeter Doesn’t Expect Recession

Feb. 1 (Bloomberg) -- German Deputy Finance Minister Steffen Kampeter said he doesn’t expect the German economy to slide into a recession.
“I don’t expect any recession, technically, for Germany,” Kampeter said yesterday in New York in an interview with Bloomberg Television. “I only expect a slowdown of growth, especially because of our robust labor market.”
