Feb. 1 (Bloomberg) -- Armenia’s consumer prices rose 4.8 percent in January from a year earlier on higher costs for food and other consumer goods.

Prices advanced 3.6 percent from a month earlier, the statistics service in the capital, Yerevan, said today on its website.
