Christie Pitches Proposed Income-Tax Cut to Business Leaders

Jan. 26 (Bloomberg) -- Governor Chris Christie called on New Jersey business leaders to support his proposed 10 percent rollback in income taxes, saying it won’t lead to increases in state debt or borrowing.
The first-term Republican, who took office in 2010 pledging to cut taxes as the state’s economic conditions improved, made his appeal during a trip to Washington sponsored by the state Chamber of Commerce.
