African Minerals, Juventus, Seat Pagine: Europe Equity Preview

Jan. 30 (Bloomberg) -- Shares of the following companies may have unusual moves in European trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses.

The Stoxx Europe 600 Index retreated 1.1 percent to 252.52. The Stoxx 50 Index fell 0.8 percent to 2,409.23. The Euro Stoxx 50 Index, a benchmark measure for nations using the euro, declined 1.3 percent to 2,404.62.

African Minerals Ltd. (AMI LN): The iron-ore miner in Sierra Leon started an offering of as much as $350 million of convertible bonds due 2017. The shares fell 4.4 percent to 516 pence.

Anglo American Plc (AAL LN): Codelco, the world’s largest copper producer, may seek a court order to retain profit from the London-based mining company’s Sur unit in Chile as part of a battle over ownership, according to three people familiar with the case. The shares slid 2.4 percent to 2,635 pence.

Juventus Football Club SpA (JUVE IM): The Turin-based soccer club said its capital increase of 120 million euros has been fully subscribed. The shares fell 1.6 percent to 15 euro cents.

Seat Pagine Gialle SpA (PG IM): Italy’s largest phone-book publisher said its board hasn’t completed the work to define the contents of the final proposal for a consensual financial reorganization and will continue working on it tomorrow. The shares rallied 24 percent to 3.5 cents.
