Petroplus Says Deutsche Bank Moved Money Out of French Accounts

Jan. 26 (Bloomberg) -- Petroplus Holdings AG said Deutsche Bank AG moved 122 million euros and $59 million of cash out of the bank accounts of its French unit even though it hadn’t been instructed to do so.

A formal investigation has been opened by the French public prosecutor, Petroplus said, adding it “refutes all allegations of fraudulent bankruptcy in France.”
