Mexico Tourist Arrivals at Airports Rise 13% to December Record

Jan. 26 (Bloomberg) -- Mexico received 1.07 million foreign visitors at its airports in December, 13 percent more than a year earlier and a record for the last month of the year, the Ministry of Tourism said.

It was the fifth consecutive month of increased visitor numbers, the ministry, known as Sectur, said in a statement on its website today. U.S. visitors increased by 11 percent from the previous December, according to the statement.
