Jan. 26 (Bloomberg) -- The following is a list of companies whose shares may undergo unusual price changes in central European markets. Stock symbols are in parentheses after company names. Share prices are from the last close.
Poland’s WIG20 Index fell 0.5 percent, the Czech PX Index retreated 0.2 percent and Hungary’s BUX Index lost 1 percent.
PKN Orlen SA (PKN PW): Earnings before interest and taxes at Poland’s largest oil refiner plunged to about 100 million zloty ($30 million) in the fourth quarter from 746.8 million zloty a year earlier, a statement from the company said today. The shares fell 0.9 percent to 37 zloty.
Gedeon Richter Nyrt. (RICHT HB): Hungary’s biggest drug- maker had its price estimate cut to 47,000 forint from 51,000 forint at UBS AG. Gedeon fell 0.5 percent to 36,020 forint.
Unipetrol AS (UNIP CP): Earnings before interest and tax at the Czech Republic’s largest refiner will be negative and below what it was in the previous quarter, the company said in a statement today. Unipetrol gained 0.6 percent to 171 koruna.
