Babacan Says Turkey Not Afraid of Tightening If Needed

Jan. 26 (Bloomberg) -- Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Ali Babacan said Turkey might need fresh tightening of monetary policy and the government isn’t “afraid” of it.

Turkey’s economy will be “walking” not “running” this year, Babacan said in an interview with CNBC-e news channel today in Davos, where he is attending the World Economic Forum.
