Jan. 23 (Bloomberg) -- The U.S. Treasury Department sanctioned Iran’s Bank Tejarat for providing financial services to banks and companies already subject to international restrictions.
The U.S. has now sanctioned 23 Iranian-linked financial institutions “based on their involvement in Iran’s illicit activities,” the Treasury said in a statement in Washington today.
