Orascom’s Sawiris Says Algerian Due Diligence to End This Month

Jan. 23 (Bloomberg) -- Orascom Telecom Holding SAE founder Naguib Sawiris predicts the due diligence for the sale of the company’s Algerian unit to end this month.

The Algerian state signed an agreement to buy Orascom’s local unit, Djezzy. Orascom expects a “fair offer,” Sawiris said at a conference in Munich today, adding that he might go into arbitration with the Algerian government.
