Google Says Tilenius to Assume Global Commerce Strategy Position

January 18, 2012

Jan. 18 (Bloomberg) -- Google Inc. said Stephanie Tilenius, an executive in the company’s e-commerce division, is moving into a new role where she will oversee global strategy and step up an expansion of international commerce.

Tilenius, who previously worked at EBay Inc., was hired in 2010 to help Mountain View, California-based Google broaden its e-commerce business and expand the use of Google Checkout, a payment service that competes with EBay’s PayPal.
