Russian Car Sales May Increase to 2.8 Million Vehicles This Year

Jan. 16 (Bloomberg) -- Russian car sales may climb to 2.6 million to 2.8 million vehicles this year, from 2.5 million last year, said Dmitry Levchenkov, a department head at the Economy Ministry.

Sales may reach 3.5 million in about five years, depending on favorable economic conditions, Levchenkov told reporters today in Moscow.
