Jan. 16 (Bloomberg) -- The following companies had unusual price changes in Bogota trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and prices are as of 4 p.m. local time.
The IGBC Index dropped 0.3 percent to 13,080.71, while the Colcap Index declined 0.9 percent to 1,578.22.
Corp. Financiera Colombiana SA (CORFICOL CB), the financial-services and holding company with investments in the construction industry, fell 0.6 percent to 34,100 pesos. The company said it plans to sell 13.3 million shares of Proenergia Internacional SA to Grand Cayman-based Copec Investments Ltd., according to a regulatory filing Jan. 13. The sale price per share was set at 9,280 pesos, the filing said.
Proenergia Internacional SA (PROENERG CB), a Colombian wholesaler and retailer of compressed natural gas, rose 3.1 percent to 8,760 pesos.
Ecopetrol SA (ECOPETL CB), Colombia’s largest oil producer, fell 1.5 percent to 4,415 pesos after the company said protests are reducing supplies from a field in northern Colombia.
Protesters blockading roadways and hampering the entry of workers have reduced output at the Ciras Infantas field since this weekend, according to a company official who can’t be identified because of corporate policy. The field usually produces 28,000 to 30,000 barrels a day of crude, the official said today.
