January 16, 2012

Jan. 17 (Bloomberg) -- China’s economic growth will “bottom out” in the second quarter and accelerate in the second half of the year, Khiem Do, a Hong Kong-based head of multi-asset strategy at Baring Asset Management Ltd., said in a Bloomberg Television interview.

Gross domestic product will probably be below 8 percent in the first and second quarters, Do said. Europe will “definitely” see a recession, he said.
