Jan. 12 (Bloomberg) -- Yapi & Kredi Bankasi AS, a Turkish bank part-owned by UniCredit SpA, surged in Istanbul trading.
Yapi Kredi rose 7.1 percent to 2.87 liras at 4:14 p.m., heading for the biggest gain since Nov. 30. That valued the company at 12.4 billion liras ($6.7 billion.) UniCredit advanced 11 percent to 2.83 euros in Milan.
