Medvedev Orders Antitrust Watchdog to Probe Russian Fuel Prices

Jan. 12 (Bloomberg) -- Russian President Dmitry Medvedev ordered Federal Anti-Monopoly Service Chief Igor Artemyev to analyze the prices of gasoline and other motor fuels and take action against “unjustified” increases.

The antitrust regulator is to report on its investigation by July 1, the Kremlin said today in an e-mailed statement.
