Euro Stays Higher Versus Dollar After ECB Keeps Main Rate at 1%

Jan. 12 (Bloomberg) -- The euro stayed higher against the dollar after the European Central Bank kept its main interest rate unchanged at 1 percent, an outcome predicted in a survey of economists by Bloomberg.

The 17-nation currency strengthened 0.5 percent to $1.2774 at 12:47 p.m. London time.
