Goldman Says Commodity Credit Issues in Europe ‘Mostly Behind’

Jan. 9 (Bloomberg) -- Goldman Sachs Group Inc. said commodity trade credit problems in Europe, which contributed to metals destocking, are “mostly behind us.”

There was a “sharp drop” in trade credit in Europe, and metals demand is likely to rise as destocking comes to an end, Jeffrey Currie, head of commodities research, told a conference in London today.
