Jan. 6 (Bloomberg) -- Shares of the following companies had unusual moves in Thailand trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and prices are as of 11:18 a.m. in Bangkok.
The SET Index rose 0.1 percent to 1,037.44. The gauge has gained 1.2 percent this week, set for the biggest weekly advance in a month.
Supalai Pcl (SPALI TB), a Thai property developer, dropped 1.4 percent to 14.3 baht, the first decline in five days. The company was cut to “outperform” from “buy” by Sorapong Jakteerugkul, an analyst at Kasikorn Securities Co. Ltd.
Thoresen Thai Agencies Pcl (TTA TB), a bulk shipping carrier, declined 1.4 percent to 20.9 baht, the first drop in three days. The Baltic Dry Index, a measure of commodity shipping costs, slid 8.1 percent to 1,426 points yesterday, according to the Baltic Exchange in London.
