Turkey Bank Signals End to Direct Dollar Sales, HSBC Says

Jan. 6 (Bloomberg) -- A Turkish central bank decision to start holding extra auctions of dollars for liras when deemed necessary is a signal that the bank plans to end direct sales of dollars in the market, Fatih Keresteci, a strategist for HSBC Holdings Plc., said in e-mailed comments today.
