Samsung Total Buys 25,000 Tons of Naphtha for February Delivery

Jan. 6 (Bloomberg) -- Samsung Total Petrochemicals Co. bought 25,000 metric tons of naphtha for delivery to Daesan, South Korea, in the second half of February, according to two traders with knowledge of the tender.

The company, which purchased the cargo yesterday, paid a premium of about $8 a ton above benchmark Japan prices, one of the traders said.
