Jan. 4 (Bloomberg) -- John McCain, the 2008 Republican presidential nominee, will endorse Mitt Romney today in New Hampshire, according to a person with knowledge of the plans.
McCain, the Arizona senator who won the New Hampshire primary in both 2000 in 2008, is announcing his support a day after Romney scored a narrow win in the Iowa caucuses that kicked off the Republican contest. Romney, a former Massachusetts governor, is pressing to win neighboring New Hampshire’s Jan. 10 primary by enough to put him on the path to the nomination.
