Jan. 4 (Bloomberg) -- Indonesia’s palm oil output may rise to 25 million tons this year from an estimated 23.5 million tons in 2011, the nation’s palm oil association known as Gapki said in a statement in Jakarta today.
Exports may gain to 17.5 million tons to 18 million tons from an estimated 16.5 million tons last year, the group said. The price of palm oil may reach $1,000 to $1,200 a metric ton this year, the group said.
